GS1 Brazil - Brazilian Automation Association is a non-profit multi-sector organization incorporated under the purpose of promoting and expanding the deployment of global information identification, collection and sharing standards in Brazil, contributing to increased productivity and safety within supply chains, duly aligned with public authorities, enterprises and consumers.

The work of GS1 Brazil consists of disseminating automation solutions that help organizations to be efficient, with more accurate controls and cost reduction. In addition, it helps them choose the best solutions for each type of operation, in order to continue moving forward.

"Our scope is very large," says Virginia Vaamonde, CEO of GS1 Brazil. "We work from the individual entrepreneur to large enterprises. In addition, we work with all sectors. Hence, we cannot provide the exact same services to all of them. We must be able to deliver customized services for each specific sector and size.”
